Jake and Jamie
Jake and Jamie met in 2013 when Jamie joined the Newcastle University Student Choir where Jake was conductor. At some point they started texting and although they can’t agree on what their first date was, it was either milkshake on the Quayside, Coffee at Central Bean… or was it a folk session at the Hotspur? But after nearly 13 years together by the time they are married, what does it really matter how it started?
Jamie and Jake share a passion for the arts through their mutual appreciation of the Gesamkunstwerk and symbolism through acts, movement and physical gestures in art, architecture, poetry and of course… opera!
Our wedding ceremony is carefully crafted to celebrate this enthusiasm for expressing complex ideas through simple acts. Our love is about doing – sharing experiences and journeying together.
